The Food Service & Hospitality Career Pathway provides students with in-depth, hands-on experiences that emphasize industry awareness, sanitation, and food production. Students will have the opportunity to learn from professional chefs as well as through internships with local chefs. Students will prepare for competitions in FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), ProStart, CCAP (Careers Through Culinary Arts Program), and Sweets by the Beach. This program gives students an opportunity to grow and refine the professional, practical, and leadership skills that they will call upon throughout their lives. This career pathway provides students with guidance, coursework, and work-based learning experiences used in a culinary career today.
