The Business and Technology Academy helps students develop a foundation in core academics and skills for career success, such as interpersonal and management skills. Academy students will receive valuable work-based learning experiences, including many industry-specific guest speakers, a Disney leadership course, available internships, college visits, DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) club membership, and other industry-specific field trips. With an emphasis on innovative thinking, this immersive multi-year sequence of classes and work-based learning experiences preps students for college and gives them a competitive advantage in the job market.
